Courses: MODULE OVERVIEW: Communication & Effective Listening
Everyone
communicates on the job. After all, without proper communication,
there's no way to receive or transmit instructions, expectations,
goals, and procedures. To be effective on the job, you need to be
able to express your thoughts clearly and concisely, with a minimum
of emotion. You also need to be open to the ways in which your co-workers
communicate. Their style may be different from yours. A little understanding
goes a long way. As we will see in this module, communication is
a skill that can be acquired with practice and an open mind.
